The Little RoseOn a mountain stood a scarlet rose
Haughtily looking at those lower
And men speaking beautiful proses
Were all so dully similar
A young boy wanted the small flower
He braved through snowstorms to pick her
And with all his might and willpower
He stretched a trembling hand towards her
The dainty blossom was flattered
As she left her gleaming bed of snow
And by the young boy she was embraced
Oh how much the bloom did not know...
On a round table she was placed
Like a queen on a throne of silver
By the sunlight she was lavished
Yet the boy still grew bored of her
With fingers holding a peony
He came ; the red queen was dethroned
And her rose's soul was filled with fury
He took her but she was thorned.
Magnificient she remained there
Her tiny petals shining like blood
Time caressed her like fleeting air
But sorrow stayed in her heart bud
And a shadow over her loomed
Softly and lovingly it grasped her
Seeing the dark one her heart bloomed
Out of the boy's chest it pulled her.
In Love With DeathOn a dark twilight
A child stood
Tears of blood
A red sea
Her life's fading
Like a candle burning
She laid there
On the black river!
For I've fallen
In Love With Death
